Seasons for Growth – working through grief
This 8 week programme of reflection is an opportunity for people experiencing loss, grief or change to listen to what is happening in their lives and to learn ways of understanding and coping with them.
Date: Wednesdays, 4th February to 25th March 2015, 10.00 – 12.00 noon
Facilitator: Angela Sheehan.
Angela has a lot of experience in dealing with loss and change in her Chaplaincy work and with elderly people in “Galway Contact” organization.
She is a health-care Chaplain, with experience in Kerry General Hospital and Bon Secours, Cork. She was Founder/Director of “Contact Galway”. She did her C.P.E. training in St. John of God, Dublin and Kerry General Hospital, Tralee.
She has trained as Spiritual director with the Jesuits in Galway and is a trained facilitator of the grief programme “Seasons for Growth”.
Her varied life experience and her wide range of training will enrich us. People have found her grief programme “Seasons for Growth” very helpful in dealing with losses we experience in different ways in life. Even losses may be a door opening to something new and hope-filled.
We hope this day will give an opportunity to share with others and learn from others.
No personal sharing will be expected beyond what you are comfortable with.
The day will conclude with weekend Mass for those who wish to stay.
Venue: Croì Nua Centre, Rosary Lane, Taylor’s Hill , Galway.
