Learning to Pray – Listening to God’s way
Brian Grogan SJ and Phyllis Brady will facilitate this day on learning to pray.
Dates: Saturday February 28th,Time: 10.00 to 4.00 p.m.
We live in a culture of noise, speed, tension. We can lose our way in life and wonder whether the world that surrounds us is friendly or dangerous. We long to know our way but often we cannot find the help or wisdom we need.
This day of prayer and reflection gives us some space to ourselves to listen and hear what God might be trying to say to us.
Fr. Brian Grogan SJ and Phyllis Brady have worked together helping people find hints of God’s presence and light for them.
Fr. Brian has held many positions of responsibility in his Jesuit Order, including President of Milltown Institute and Professor of Spirituality there. He has published a number of books and is director of Sacred Space, a world-wide prayer site used by millions.
Phyllis Brady has worked in pastoral and spiritual ministry for years, including the chaplaincy and spirituality programmes in Milltown Institute, and lecturing in the MA courses in All Hallows. She has worked with Fr. Brian in different work and they co-authored the book, “Meetings matter: Spirituality and skills for meetings.” She has been involved in prayer projects for Dublin Archdiocese and at Knock Shrine.
